GPCC is joining with St. Paul Lutheran Church to help prepare meals for Motor City Mitten Mission, an outreach effort serving people experiencing homelessness.
This is a simple, hands-on way to serve beyond our walls. Volunteers will help chop veggies, bag desserts, and prepare meal kits for others to bake or serve.
Whether you come every month or this is your first time helping, your support makes a real difference.
Who it’s for:
Anyone who would like to help serve our neighbors through hands-on meal prep. No experience is needed.
What to expect:
Volunteers will help prepare meal kits, chop vegetables, bag desserts, and get food ready for the next stage of meal preparation. This usually takes about an hour or less.
Good to know:
The Sunday prep time has changed to 11:00am for the summer months. Meal prep takes place at St. Paul Lutheran Church, across from GPCC.
GPCC is also providing cookies and brownies for these meals. If you would like to bake, please sign up to bring 2 dozen cookies or brownies. No nuts and no frosting.
