Our community of faith is an exciting, growing, family oriented church. Our mission is to RISE. Reach out, Inspire, Serve, Embrace Diversity.

Traditional Sunday morning service is at 10:00am. Nursery is provided for infants and the Children's message is in the beginning of service. Sunday School is available for grades Pre-K through 7th grade from 10:15-11:00 am. There are also confirmed youth discussions available as an alternative to the service.

Our faith community shares in:
Choir and Bell Choir with a varied repertoire of traditional hymns, Gospel music, and contemporary hymns.

Youth Group activities for Middle and High Schoolers, including our annual hosting of the Grosse Pointe 'Battle of the Bands.' There are confirmation classes for 7th and 8th graders every other year.

A State of the Art Computer Lab complements and supplements the Sunday School and also provides adult learning resources.

Bible studies in small groups gather in church member homes.

A Women's Association that utilizes annual Rummage Sale proceeds to support various outreach and church projects.

'Among Friends' is a popular church group that has gatherings and outings for members throughout the year.

'Knit Wits' is a knitting circle for knitters of all ages. The 'Share the Love, Share the warmth' proceeds benefits a local health center.

GPCC is a self governing Christian congregation affiliated with the United Church of Christ and the American Baptist Churches, USA. We hold a wide variety of theological, social, and political opinions, most importantly, we follow Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and his commandment to love each other. It is love of neighbor that transcends our differences and binds us together as a Christian Community.
