Battle of the Bands! Friday, March 19, 7 to 11pm

Battle of the Bands is Friday, March 19 from 7 to 11pm at the Grosse Pointe Congregational Church. Admission is $5. Ages 13 and over. (12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.) Tickets available at the door; door opens at 7.

Scheduled to perform: Hangman's Platform, The Rads, Big City Static, The Kickbacks, Jimmy Champagne, and Skeen. Cash prize will be awarded to the winning band. Food available for purchase.

Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of Grosse Pointe Congregational Church will be held in the sanctuary on Sunday, March 14, 2010. Absentee ballots will be available. Please use the Absentee Ballots ONLY if you cannot attend the Annual Meeting. You cannot vote both absentee and in person. You can obtain an Absentee Ballot for yourself or another person from Bonnie, the office administrator. All Absentee Ballots must be returned to the church office. The deadline for receiving the Absentee Ballots is 10 am Sunday, March 14, 2010.

Among Friends St. Patrick's Day Party 6:30 pm

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Friday, March 19 at 6:30 pm at the home of Pat and Chapman. Menu is corned beef sandwiches, coleslaw, dessert and coffee. $10 per person, BYOB and an appetizer to pass. Make checks payable to Among Friends and send to Pat and Chapman by Sunday, March 14. A signup sheet with more details is located outside the church office.
